Seated Football
Real football vibes in just a few square metres! ⚽ Seated football (Subsoccer) is a fast-paced duel game developed in Finland: two players sit facing each other and can only control the ball with their feet. It takes a minute to learn, yet it’s hard to stop playing – at team-building events, family days, corporate events and festivals, challengers queue up beside it all day long.
What is seated football?
Seated football is a net-enclosed mini football pitch set beneath a tabletop. At each end there is a bench: the players sit on these, and they also serve as the goals. The aim is simple – get the ball under the pitch and beneath your opponent’s bench using only your feet.
You don’t need a big pitch, fitness or any previous experience. It’s not strength or height that decides the game, but quick reactions and a pinch of tactics – so a pro footballer and a colleague kicking a ball for the first time can sit down opposite each other with an equal chance.
How does the service work?
Before the event, we agree with you on the venue, the duration, and whether you’d like to use the seated football for free play or as an organised mini tournament.
We deliver and set up the pitch at the agreed time. As it needs no electricity, it can be placed almost anywhere, indoors or outdoors.
The rules can be explained in a minute: players must stay seated throughout, and their feet may not cross the halfway line. The first to reach the agreed number of goals wins. Thanks to the short matches, players rotate quickly, so the cheering around the pitch never stops. At the end of the event, we dismantle and take everything away.

Good to know about seated football
Technical details, space requirements and the key features of the game
Space required
Including the benches, the pitch takes up an area of approx. 195 × 82 cm. It’s worth leaving room around it for spectators and the next challengers too.
Power supply
Not needed! Seated football is fully mechanical, so it can be set up anywhere, even without a power socket.
Indoors and outdoors
It can be used indoors and outdoors on a level, flat surface. For outdoor events, we recommend a covered area in case of rain.
Setup time
The pitch goes together quickly without tools, so it can be fitted into your programme with minimal preparation.
