Crazy Melange
Unique, special, entertaining
Looking for relaxed background music to crown your event? The CrazyMelange duo brings you a true land of melodies, from Ray Charles through Budapest Bár all the way to Ed Sheeran. If you want a truly memorable evening, don’t miss them!
Who are they?
For Kriszti, singing is a lifelong love. She has been singing enthusiastically since kindergarten, and over the past 12 years her bright, ringing voice has strengthened bands of many different styles. Her favourite sound is melancholic pop. Bálint was captivated by the guitar the moment he first picked one up, and his love of blues and rock has stayed with him ever since. After several bands of his own, he finally found himself alongside Kriszti in Crazy Melange.
Why CrazyMelange?
Like a playful cup of coffee, CrazyMelange blends well-known, characterful hits with the creamy softness of guitar music and the magic of a honey-sweet female voice. Kriszti and Bálint have been making music together for more than eight years, and as a duo they have been an essential part of successful events for five years. What makes them truly unique? Their colourful repertoire and their genuine, heartfelt love of music!
What are their favourite songs?
Their hearts belong to a clean, soft sound, which they love to spice up with lively, untamed melodies. They play a mix of older and newer evergreens in English and Hungarian across pop, soul, blues and rock. They especially enjoy dressing up the quirkiest radio hits in an elegant new outfit. Their favourites include Wicked Game by Chris Isaak and Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles.

You can book a performance easily through our website, or contact us directly by phone or email. Once the date and details are agreed, we will confirm your booking.
A typical performance lasts 2–3 hours, including a few short breaks. Of course, the duration can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Physical rest: Performing live music can be physically demanding, especially for instrumentalists and singers. Breaks give them a chance to rest, rehydrate and prepare for the next set. This is especially important during longer performances to prevent fatigue and possible injuries.
Checking instruments and equipment: During breaks, the musicians can check and fine-tune their instruments and adjust the sound system if needed, so the next set sounds as good as possible.
Mental rest: A live performance is also mentally demanding, as the musicians have to concentrate constantly. Breaks let them relax a little, which helps them keep their focus and creativity high for the whole performance.
Connecting with the audience: Breaks give the musicians a chance to interact with guests, answer questions, take requests and build a personal connection with the audience, which makes the experience even better.
Yes, we provide a full sound service, including the sound system, microphones and technical staff. Please ask our Event Crazy team about the price. If the venue already has suitable equipment, we can use that too.
We provide live music for all kinds of events, such as weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, festivals and private parties.
Of course! Let us know your favourite songs or any special requests in advance, and we will do our best to fulfil them. The duo is always open to new creative challenges.
Repertoire: The duo has a pre-rehearsed repertoire. If the requested song is part of it, they are more likely to be able to play it. It’s worth asking whether they know the song and would be happy to perform it.
Time and technical conditions: On-the-spot requests call for flexibility from the musicians. If a song is technically complex or hard to arrange, they may not be able to play it right away.
Flow of the event: Depending on the nature and mood of the event, the musicians decide whether a requested song suits the programme and the audience. For example, a slow, romantic song may not fit an energetic, dance-oriented set.
Prior agreements: If the client made special requests or agreements in advance, these take priority over spontaneous requests. The musicians always put the client’s wishes first.
Tips for requests:
- Be flexible: If you ask for a specific song, be open to alternatives in case the musicians don’t know it or can’t play it straight away.
- Ask kindly: Musicians are inspired when guests approach them with requests in a positive, friendly way.
- Give them time: If possible, give the musicians a few minutes to prepare, especially if the song wasn’t part of the original programme.
We recommend booking at least 2–3 months before your event, especially in the summer season when there are more events. Of course, we try to be flexible with shorter notice too, but to secure your date it’s worth planning ahead.
